Uluru Firstlight - Metallic Glass Print

This metallic glass print captures Uluru at sunrise, the ancient monolith glowing in luminous reds as golden light spills across the desert vegetation and a cloud-dappled sky opens wide above the horizon.
Photographed in the Northern Territory during that brief golden hour, Uluru (Ayers Rock) rises about 348 metres above the surrounding plain and stretches roughly 9.4 kilometres around its base. It is a sacred place for the Anangu Traditional Owners, part of Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park, and its colour shifts dramatically at dawn and dusk as the iron-rich rock catches the changing light.
What I love most about this metallic glass print is the way the rising sun makes Uluru erupt in stunning red, sandwiched between the greens and yellows of the foreground and the purples, blues and whites of the sky, the mesmerising textures that pull your eye through the scene, and the calm composition with bold detail below and softer space above, a beautifully iconic piece of Australia for your wall.
